Egbert has been initially a Commodore 64 game by Alan G. Osborne, released in 1983. It’s a fast-action arcade-style game, now available for the Game Boy Color.
THINK FAST, MOVE EVEN FASTER
Working on the main production line of Leyspace, Egbert is met with an unexpected invasion of termites from planet TOR. The union now exterminated, dealing with items and pets running wild in the workspace, it is now up to Egbert to solve the problem. Egbert has to make sure he defends the egg from the wrath of the deadly pets.
Imagine a landscape of glowing buttons, begging to be obliterated. That’s Egbert’s playground, but he’s not alone. Sneaky space invaders wander down the screen, disguised as blue, shiny alien eggs. Letting them hatch would be a cosmic catastrophe, so Egbert must keep them bouncing back to the top, buying himself time to obliterate those buttons. Later levels turn up the heat with buttons that slither down the screen.
But fear not, intrepid adventurers! With every button obliterated, and every egg safely bounced, your score will soar higher than a rocket fuelled by nostalgia.

Egbert’s electrifying expedition isn’t just a button-bashing bonanza, it’s a journey through the golden age of gaming. So dust off your joystick memories, rediscover the thrill of pixelated thrills, and join Egbert in his quest for arcade glory! Remember, space explorers, the fate of the arcade rests on your thumbs.
Conclusion
The game looks simple, but it gets challenging fast. The music won’t win an Emmy-Award, and Level 7 is truly for hardcore gamers! Pick up the challenge!
